MathTech 360 Internship (unpaid)

Intern: Social Media Marketing & Data Collection

 

MathTech 360 is looking for an organized self-starter who lives online, loves social media and is ready to explore broader marketing and data collection initiatives.
 

Internships are available on an ongoing basis (Summer & Fall). Flexible work hours include telecommuting and in-person options. We are seeking an intern with strong knowledge and understanding of the digital media landscape, including various social media websites. The intern will need strong critical thinking skills in order to integrate into our vibrant and passionate team.

 

SCOPE

MathTech 360 is an online math solution customized to meet the needs of middle and high school students. Based on Common Core Standards, students and their teachers are offered a full menu of individualized learning options.

 

During the summer of 2016, in partnership with FIU, MathTech360 will launch a summer pilot to include 250 students in centers across the United States. We have identified some specific tasks that need to be executed in order to have a successful pilot.

 

SOCIAL MEDIA

  • Access various platforms to coordinate outreach and promotion of MathTech 360 using Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, LinkedIn and more

  • Develop advertisement schemes to support the various platforms

  • Monitor and post on blogs, forums, and social networks

  • Website and social media optimization

  • Create and review email blast campaigns

  • Perform keyword analysis

  • Project and monitor cost/benefit analysis

 

DATA COLLECTION

  • Support data collection via Qualtrics, Survey monkey, etc

  • Organize and track mailing list –using mailChimp, Gmail, etc.

  • Develop a reference list to support Curriculum Development

 

 CUSTOMER SERVICES

  • Respond to social media inquires in a timely and professional matter

  • Create scripted responses to commonly asked questions as it relates to social media and the development of MathTech360.
